tanakadaisuke is a collection brand led by Daisuke Tanaka, a costume designer and embroidery artist. Using beads, bijoux, and lace worked entirely by hand, his embroidered pieces carry a classical elegance while balancing femininity and sophistication — a duality that defines his singular creative world.
Starlight is a print of an embroidery work that depicts the moon and stars using countless beads, sequins, and bijoux, with touches of silver foil pressing. The moon, which gives off no light of its own, seems to radiate a glow through the shapes and subtle gradations of each individually sewn bead. Surrounded by scattered stardust, a deep and boundless galaxy spreads across the cover of this Weeks.
