This is a posting for a retail position at Papillon Press in Webster Groves, MO.
We're looking for an positive people-person who's also a stationery fan, and has experience with using fountain pens.
Duties include stocking product, performing inventory audits, running the POS, organizing/tidying the shop, and assisting customers with pens, notebooks, and art choices. At times, you will also likely help with packaging and some simple assembly. We have a caged parakeet named Tweety who requires daily feeding and watering, which will also be part of your shop duties.
Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age, and be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Customer service skills are required, as well as basic computer/iPad skills, and written/verbal communication adeptness. Preferred experience in retail, and stationery/fountain pen knowledge. Candidates must be able to stand for most of their time at work, be able to get on a ladder to get art down from the wall, and lift 30-50 pounds.
It is a part-time position, with 1-3 shifts per week, scheduling is flexible.
Pay starts at $18 an hour with an employee shop discount.
