Having the ability to change ink color in fountain pens is one of my favorite reasons for using them. The ink cartridges make this very easy. The J. Herbin is a well behaved ink with several color options and the cartridges are simple to install and keep writing.

I got this diary last year, and have been using it to write a little about each day, and log what I did. I'm going to go back over my pictures for the year in late December, and add photo stickers to the days to have it as a memory keeper. This is the first time I've ever stayed consistent on a yearly diary, and the portable size and ease of quick entries has absolutely contributed to that. I can't wait to start on 2026!

The size is perfect for carrying in my bag, and I love the full week layout so that I can see not only how busy I am that day, but also the surrounding week.

It's nice because it holds more ink than my others and provides the same durability.

Picked up a Kaweco Sport Rollerball. I've been looking to write with one prior to purchasing. My visit to Papillon Press did not disappoint. I bought several of these foils at the St. Louis shop. I used them to decorate my e-read with a clear case, and they look so pretty!

My Lamy pen was my favorite, but after purchasing this Kaweco rollerball, I prefer it over the Lamy pen. It writes smoothy and is easy to hold. An all purpose pen---!

Having no letter press experience at all, my partner and I took this class and had the BEST time! Madeleine is an amazing teacher - she explained each step of the process to us so clearly that we felt comfortable doing everything ourselves after watching her and listening to her instruction. She gave us fun insights into her design process/inspiration, logistics of procuring the plates to print, and a little mini history lesson on the mechanics of her vintage press! She was also super patient with us while we spent time mixing up the specific color of blue we were imaging in our heads. We would absolutely take the class again - it’s sooo cool getting to print your own cards on such an old press, and would be so fun to be able to give our cards for different holidays that we printed ourselves!
